The name "Il Pignocco" (The big Pine) derives from an ancient and gigantic pine that was situated nearby the Country House: the memory of the people tells that the tree was so stately that it was immediately identified by sailors, who used it as an unmistakable point of reference.
In the sweet hills of Pesaro, plunged in the green of nature among olives, cultivated fields, woods of pines, oaks, laurels and in a beautiful panoramic position, the Villa of Pignocco rises. It is an ancient and fascinating farmhouse dating up to 1700, today restructured and become fashionable again.
Those that once were the barn, the stall, the tower and the residence of the sharecropper, have now been turned into comfortable apartments, where to stay for a relaxing vacation dedicated to nature or to sea.
The complex is besides an ideal place for banquets, ceremonies, full-dress dinners.
The residence, that has belonged to our family for more than fifty years, is situated inside an area in which, according to recent studies, the ancient Romans performed rites of pagan cults in divinities’ honour two thousand years ago.
The villa and its adjoining small family oratory boast an enviable history and position. For many years our family has been dreaming of sharing with you the beauty and the magic of this angle of nature, so close to the small city of Pesaro, but at the same time so distant from the stress of modern life.

At the base of the turret there are a cooking corner and a sofa corner with TV; on the first floor there is the bathroom with hydro massage tub; on the second floor there is the double room, on the third floor the view terrace.
