Casa La Colombaia is a true farm-holidays managed by a family of true farmers. From generation to generation, the Zannelli family has cultivated vines and olive-trees in their farm called "Azienda Agricola La Cappella", of which is part the farm-holidays "Casa La Colombaia". Actually the farm, together with the holidays-houses, is managed directly by the youngest member of the Zannelli family, Mrs Gianna Zannelli, aged 33, helped by her uncle Antonio, her parents Luigi and Giuliana and her brother Riccardo.
Floors and ceilings in cotto-stone, beams in chestnut-tree wood, fireplaces and stairs in serena-stone, walls handicraft painted with putty knives, banisters and accessories in wrought iron, a furniture in the typical Tuscan countrystyle: all this welcomes the guests in these true farmhouses.

" ... It would have been easy for us to get 10-12 rooms or 7-8 small apartments out from the Colonica and the Fienile, but this is not our style and this is not our concept of farm-holidays. In fact, we do not want and we do not wish to change our farm in a sort of "holiday-village". We love the quietness of our hills and to living following the succession of the seasons ... and we believe that this same opinion is shared by our guests too!"
The whole property is surrounded by a very large park of 2000 squared metres. The swimming-pool too is encircled in the greenery, perfectly fitted in the surrounding environment. From the swimming-pool set you may enjoy a fascinating view on the Chianti hills.
The swimming-pool is 6x12 metres large and in the deepest point it is 1,80 m.
Our park is a true green parenthesis where you may spend joyful hours of relax with your friends or family, being also our park provided with tables and chairs (located near the apartments) in case you might decide to have dinner outside.
The little town of Montespertoli is well-known in Tuscany as the "city of wine" and in fact in this area the best Chianti wines DOCG and DOC are producted. Our farm as well is renowned for its wines and extra-virgin olive-oils, which quality is certified.
